The purpose of these fellowships is:
- to provide faculty members with the opportunity to engage more deeply on social justice and/or human rights work;
- to support faculty members’ engagement with the campus community through close association with the Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership;
- to provide faculty members with the space for reflection, creative thinking, and innovative practices on a social justice and/or human rights project of their own design.
Every two years (under normal circumstances) a K faculty member will be appointed as a Faculty Fellow of the ACSJL for a period of up to two academic years.
The Provost, the Academic Director, and the ACSJL Faculty Advisory Board will make the selection of ACSJL Faculty Fellows. Applications are due on October 15th, 2019 for following fall appointments. Notice of appointment will be given on November 15th, 2019, with the understanding that fellowships will begin in the fall of the following year.
