The Community Support is aimed at seeding radical social justice action led by individual community-based organizations located regionally. We will prioritize seeding collaborative efforts. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, once the application process opens.

Eligibility Criteria
- Project aligns with the Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership mission, vision, and values
- Organization holds a 501(c)(3) status, is a public entity, or is fiscally sponsored. Contact the ACSJL if your organization does not fall into one of these categories.
- Applicant is willing to engage in the Arcus Center community for the year funding is received, including events and trainings
- Applicant is willing to answer questions about the impact of the funded project and potential next steps for applicant’s work
Application Cycle Timeline:
- Cycle 1: September 11, 2023 – October 16, 2023
- Cycle 2: January 8, 2024 – February 12, 2024
- Cycle 3: April 4, 2024 – May 6, 2024

This Fund is aimed at supporting Faculty and Staff to expand on or initiate new and innovative lines of learning, engagement, advocacy and/or research around social justice issues. We will review applications in detail and make decisions with the utmost thoughtfulness. In the spirit of reciprocity, we encourage you to approach these questions in the same vein, so we can get to know each other, explore shared interests and hopefully support each other’s work.

Our intention is to support radical projects, community organizing and activism addressing the root causes of social justice issues.
